Recap: Southern Boone Eagles vs. Moberly Spartans        
        
		
            
 The Southern Boone Eagles's game  last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They took down Moberly 78-60. Given Southern Boone's advantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings  (they are ranked 50th, while Moberly is ranked 270th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Despite the loss, Moberly still got an impressive performance from   Ty Rucker, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Rucker has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Cameron Doubrava, who  scored 13 points.
 Southern Boone is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Moberly, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 8-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Boone the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Kirksville at 7:30  p.m.  on January 31st. Moberly will take on Hannibal at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
