Chambersburg was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Carlisle  on Wednesday. The Chambersburg Trojans put the hurt on the Carlisle Thundering Herd with a sharp  12-0 victory. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Thundering Herd recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 R Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Mills was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news, Chambersburg let  K Barclay and  E Brown run wild. Barclay  went a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Brown  went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  A Basquez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Chambersburg  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. The last time their  OBP was this high was  since  the start of last season.
The  victory  got Chambersburg back to even at 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chambersburg will face off against Cumberland Valley at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. This will  be Cumberland Valley's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Carlisle, they will take on Big Spring at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
