Volleyball Recap: Newcastle Takes a Loss

Newcastle was the 3-1 winner over Burns when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dogies fell just short of the Broncs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Newcastle's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burns, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Newcastle and Burns will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Dogies see the court they'll take on Glenrock at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Burns, their break will end when they face Rawlins at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
