Baseball Recap: Indiana Takes Down East Pennsboro in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Indiana walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the East Pennsboro Panthers 6-5. The Little Indians haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Indiana's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for East Pennsboro, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 24-1.

Looking ahead, Indiana will challenge Montoursville at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Little Indians surely won't give up without a fight. East Pennsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
