Manchester is 9-1 against North Adams since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Greyhounds will welcome the Green Devils at 5:00 p.m. Manchester is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Manchester's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on West Union with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Greyhounds have won eight games by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Rylie Young was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Addilyn Hunter was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Hunter is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Chloe Carter was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Manchester always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Union only posted an OBP of .111.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for North Adams' offense. They fell just short of Eastern by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Green Devils in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.
Carlee Garrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on eight hits and racked up 11 Ks.
Manchester pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
North Adams' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Manchester has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for North Adams, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Manchester's sizable advantage in that area, the Green Devils will need to find a way to close that gap.
Manchester was able to grind out a solid win over North Adams in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 7-3. Will the Greyhounds repeat their success, or do the Green Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
