While Jamestown's win against Bruton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Panthers 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 back in April.

The victory got Jamestown back to even at 8-8. As for Bruton, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jamestown will venture away from home to square off against New Kent at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bruton, they will head out to challenge Poquoson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
