Basketball Game Preview: North Miami Beach Chargers vs. Pinecrest Prep Crocs'

The North Miami Beach Chargers and the Pinecrest Prep Crocs will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Miami Beach's tournament run continued when they took on Lee County on Saturday. North Miami Beach might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Lee County an easy 58-32 victory. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 554th in Florida, while the Trojans are ranked 36th in Georgia).

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Schoolhouse Prep and fell 73-41.

Pinecrest Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for North Miami Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
