Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Ridgeview's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Ridgeview won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Independence Falcons. It was an even better day for Andrew Nava as he scored three goals for his team.

Ridgeview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those eight matches. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12-3.

Ridgeview will face off against Stockdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stockdale is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Ridgeview a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Independence, they will take on Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
