Football Game Preview: Hayti vs. Malden

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Hayti. On Friday they take on Malden at 7:00 PM. Malden will need to watch out since Hayti have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Hayti put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against New Madrid County Central as the team secured a 68-14 win. With Hayti ahead 60-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Malden were able to grind out a solid victory over East Prairie, winning 42-32.

Their wins bumped Malden to 2-3 and Hayti to 5-0. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
