Softball Game Preview: Mooresville Christian Eagles vs. Horizon Christian

Cambria Hathaway and Cayden Marshall did some serious damage despite the final result: Hathaway went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run, while Marshall went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Victoria Kiger, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Horizon Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Mooresville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mooresville Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Horizon Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .544. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
