Basketball Recap: Nerinx Hall Comes Up Short

Nerinx Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-22 loss at the hands of the St. Dominic Crusaders. The contest marked the Markers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nerinx Hall's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-12. As for St. Dominic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nerinx Hall is set to take on their familiar foe Cor Jesu Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Dominic will face off against rival St. Joseph's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
