Softball Recap: Ossining Comes Up Short

Ossining started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against White Plains. They lost 8-2 to the Tigers on Tuesday. The game marked the Pride's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ossining saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leaila Alexander, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Ossining and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for White Plains, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Ossining does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White Plains, they will take on Eastchester at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
