Volleyball Recap: Iola Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Iola and Anderson County meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12.

Iola's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Anderson County, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Iola has already played their next match (against Santa Fe Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Anderson County, they will take on Prairie View on Thursday.
