Football Game Preview: Pleasant Hill Billies vs. La Pine Hawks + How To Watch

The Pleasant Hill Billies are taking a road trip to face off against the La Pine Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pleasant Hill has four straight victories, La Pine has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Pleasant Hill will bounce into Friday's game after beating Elmira, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Billies breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 42-14 on Friday. That looming 42-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Billies yet this season.

Kai Davis had a dynamite game, rushing for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Davis was just one part of a punishing run game: Pleasant Hill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elmira only rushed for 30.

Meanwhile, La Pine was beaten by Madras 41-6 on Friday.

Pleasant Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for La Pine, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Pleasant Hill's way against La Pine in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Pleasant Hill made off with a 26-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Billies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
