Volleyball Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. Malcolm Clippers

Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Malcolm Clippers. If the Chanticleers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Clippers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18.

Raegan Thompson paced Ord's offense, picking up two kills. Thompson got some help from Brylie Collier and her four assists. Jamie Vavra controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Allie Blair was nothing short of spectacular for Malcolm: she had 23 assists and five aces. Blair is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

Ord's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Malcolm, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
