Football Game Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Fayette County Tigers + How To Watch

Cordova is 1-8 against Fayette County since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blue Devils will head out to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Cordova has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cordova is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 41 points on September 12th, they were much more limited against Good Hope last Friday. They were outmatched by the Raiders and fell 34-6.

Meanwhile, Fayette County came up short against Winfield on Thursday and fell 21-14. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fayette County suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Cordova, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Things could have been worse for Cordova, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 26-7 loss to Fayette County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
