Basketball Recap: Bradley Knights Comes Up Short at Home Against Georgia-Cumberland Academy

Bradley Knights unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Jaguars and fell 87-56.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Talon Robinson, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. Robinson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kaden Carter, who went 8-for-19 on his way to 22 points and three steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradley Knights will host Rocket City at 2:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, they will welcome Georgia Force Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
