Oakbrook Prep took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against King's Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Lions 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Lions on Tuesday, they had to take a 12-4 loss.

Oakbrook Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-4-1 record this season. As for King's Academy, they dropped their record down to 10-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Oakbrook Prep will venture away from home to square off against Andrew Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
