Basketball Recap: Pomona Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pomona extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against the Centaurus Warriors, falling 74-22. The Panthers lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-64 score last time.

As for Centaurus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points on average this season.

Harry Lyle was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 52.2% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Nick Jones, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points and five rebounds.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomona will be home for the holidays to greet Niwot at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centaurus, they will be taking part in a tournament against Poudre at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
