Volleyball Recap: Paloma Valley Beats Citrus Hill for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Paloma Valley waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Citrus Hill Hawks. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.

While Paloma Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Erick Fernando paced Paloma Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Fernando got some help from Jayden Estrella and his 15 assists. Fernando was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Paloma Valley's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Citrus Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paloma Valley will face off against rival Moreno Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Citrus Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
