Soccer Game Preview: Don Lugo vs. Diamond Ranch

The Don Lugo Conquistadores will head out on the road to square off against the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Don Lugo's offense. They fell just short of Ontario by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Conquistadores have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Diamond Ranch's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Chino by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Orlando Rodriguez, who's now up to four this season.

Diamond Ranch now has a losing record at 6-7-4. As for Don Lugo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2.

Don Lugo came up short against Diamond Ranch in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 2-0. Can Don Lugo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
