Basketball Recap: Illinois C Takes a Loss

Illinois C was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 61-37 to the HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 57-56 defeat back in January.

Noel Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for HomeSchool Resource Center, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Green has scored at least a third of HomeSchool Resource Center's points. Deuce Johnson was another key player, shooting 55% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals.

Illinois C's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-22 record this season.

As of now, neither Illinois C nor HomeSchool Resource Center have any future games scheduled.
