Oakman skates past Curry with ease

Recap: Oakman Wildcats vs. Curry Yellowjackets
The Oakman Wildcats waltzed into Thursday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 64-34 win over Curry on the road. With Oakman ahead 38-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Oakman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rick Johnson, who scored 20 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of Oakman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Warren, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Oakman's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Curry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Oakman will head out on the road to face off against Fayette County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Curry won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
