Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raleigh). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints a 21-0 shutout on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Kallee McWilliams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
