Baseball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short

Addison lost to Napoleon on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-3 to the Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Wright was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Napoleon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Coming up, Addison will look to defend their home field on Friday against Vandercook Lake at 4:00 p.m. The Jayhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.81 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Napoleon will be paying especially close attention to Addison's contest: after Addison faces off against Bellevue, they'll take on Napoleon again at 4:00 p.m.
