Baseball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-5 to the Ridgeland Titans. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Ridgeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ridgeland beat Columbus by a score of 8-3 later that day.
