Volleyball Recap: Galatia Gets the Win

Galatia hadn't done well against Eldorado recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bearcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Bearcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Bearcats were just returning the favor.

While Galatia won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

The victory got Galatia back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galatia will face off against Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eldorado, they will host Christopher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
