Preview: Coral Glades Jaguars vs. Deerfield Beach Bucks
Coral Glades is 1-9 against Deerfield Beach since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Coral Glades Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Deerfield Beach Bucks at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Coral Glades didn't have too much trouble with Piper at home as they won 66-49.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coral Glades to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Burrowes, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 20 rebounds. Burrowes hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tahir Bond, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, even though Pompano Beach scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Deerfield Beach still came out on top. Deerfield Beach walked away with a 67-60 win over Pompano Beach.
The losses dropped Coral Glades to 2-2 and Piper to 0-2.
Coral Glades was taken down by Deerfield Beach 73-44 in their previous matchup back in January of 2019. Can Coral Glades avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
