Baseball Game Preview: Coolidge Bears vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels

Coolidge hasn't had much luck against Seton Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bears will head out on the road to challenge the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. Coolidge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Coolidge came up short against Florence and fell 9-6.

Coolidge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicholas Baca, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over Globe on Wednesday, taking the game 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Alec Gerken was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Seton Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.

Coolidge couldn't quite get it done against Seton Catholic when the teams last played on April 2nd as they fell 9-5. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
