Basketball Game Preview: Okarche Warriors vs. Minco Bulldogs

The Okarche Warriors will challenge the Minco Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Okarche sitting on 30 straight wins dating back to last season and Minco on three.

Okarche is returning to their home court after beating Calumet on theirs, despite the fact Calumet has dominated at home this season. Okarche managed a 90-85 victory over Calumet on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minco). They breezed by Oklahoma Bible to the tune of 93-48 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Okarche pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.1 points. As for Minco, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

Okarche came out on top in a nail-biter against Minco when the teams last played back in January of 2018, sneaking past 71-68. Will Okarche repeat their success, or does Minco have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
