Volleyball Recap: Tranquillity Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tranquillity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Avenal Buccaneers, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buccaneers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Tranquillity took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-23.

Yasmin Garcilazo had an outrageously good game for Avenal as she had 37 assists and nine digs. Those 37 assists gave Garcilazo a new career-high.

Tranquillity's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Avenal, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12-2 record this season.

Tranquillity has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Mendota on the 9th. As for Avenal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Dos Palos on the 9th.
