Basketball Recap: Corbett Comes Up Short

Corbett lost against Banks on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Corbett Cardinals might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 37-31 to the Banks Braves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corbett's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Banks, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Corbett will square off against Warrenton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Corbett is facing Warrenton at the right time seeing as Warrenton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Banks, they will venture away from home to square off against Yamhill-Carlton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Yamhill-Carlton will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Banks surely won't give up without a fight.
