Soccer Game Preview: Scituate vs. Coventry

The Scituate Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Coventry Oakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Scituate's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Scituate is headed into the match having not lost since September 17 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Pilgrim finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Scituate's goal came courtesy of Katelyn Chatelle, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Coventry fell victim to East Providence and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Townies by a score of 1-0. Coventry have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

With that draw, Scituate's record moves to 3-5-5. As for Coventry, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-3.
