Red Level is 8-2 against McKenzie since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Red Level Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the McKenzie Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Red Level came up short against Elba and fell 54-44. Red Level has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, McKenzie unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Georgiana.

Red Level will have to keep a close watch on Jay Jackson and Quay Jackson, a pair of players who had a big impact on McKenzie's prior game. Jay dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Quay went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points. Jay is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games he's played.

Red Level's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for McKenzie, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-4.

Red Level opened the new year with a less-than-successful 51-42 defeat to McKenzie. Can Red Level avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
