Football Recap: Fort Wayne Snider Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Snider lost against Carroll back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 47-14 loss at the hands of the Chargers. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

A big part of Carroll's victory came down to the chemistry between Gabe Frisinger and his top target Jaidon Vanpelt. Frisinger threw for 363 yards and five TDs while completing 79.4% of his passes while Vanpelt picked up 200 receiving yards and four scores. Those four receiving touchdowns gave Vanpelt a new career-high.

Fort Wayne Snider now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Snider will square off against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will challenge Fort Wayne South Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Archers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
