Zephyr waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Cherokee Indians by a score of 43-31. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-16 on January 3rd.

Zephyr is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.2 points per game. As for Cherokee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zephyr will challenge Brookesmith at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherokee, they will square off against Richland Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
