Baseball Game Preview: Southern Lab Kittens vs. Central Private Redhawks

Southern Lab is 0-7 against Central Private since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Kittens will be playing at home against the Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. Southern Lab has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southern Lab came up short against Mays on Monday, falling 12-2. The Kittens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Central Private hadn't done well against West Feliciana recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Redhawks walked away with an 8-5 win over the Saints.

Southern Lab's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Central Private, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Southern Lab suffered a grim 19-0 defeat to Central Private when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Kittens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
