Softball Game Preview: Olympus Titans vs. Clearfield Falcons

For the second straight game, Olympus will face off against Clearfield. The Titans will face off against the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympus is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

Olympus is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Clearfield by a score of 10-6.

Charlie Turner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adi Comer was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Allisson Robles was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Olympus' victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Clearfield, they moved to 15-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
