Baseball Recap: Juab Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Juab had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Spanish Fork Dons.

Connor Cowan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Austin Park was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Luke Marostica was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Juab's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Spanish Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Juab will challenge Emery at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Emery has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Juab will no doubt try to take advantage of. Spanish Fork has already played their next match (against Desert Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
