Fairview entered their tilt with Kirkwood on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cobras. That's more bragging rights for Fairview, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Scout Akens and Maleah Martinez scored both of Fairview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Kirkwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.
