Basketball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Makes It 17 in a Row on the Road

Franklin-Simpson extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Reesha Cawthorn. The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats really took it to the Russellville Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-27 win thanks in part to Cawthorn, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Lyniah Brown, who posted seven points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
