Soccer Game Preview: Northwest vs. Marshall

Northwest is 0-9 against Marshall since May of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mounties will host the Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Northwest and Coldwater settled for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lakeview, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Marshall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Lakeview are ranked 20th).

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. Northwest's draw makes their record 3-3-3 this season.
