Basketball Recap: Fort Worth THESA Riders vs. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors
Fort Worth THESA lost against Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fort Worth THESA Riders lost 56-30 to the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while the Warriors are ranked 166th).
Fort Worth THESA's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wilson Farmer, who posted ten points. Micah Ragsdale was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.
Even though they lost, Fort Worth THESA was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool only racked up six assists.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Toby Pike led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
