The Cranston West Falcons waltzed into Thursday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Cranston East out 28-26. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cranston West also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

Cranston West was led to victory by Kelan Cornell and Anthony Salas. Cornell rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, while Salas gained 133 total yards and two touchdowns. Salas was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards.

Cranston West's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. As for Cranston East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
