Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo lost against Paso Robles back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Conquistadores fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-1. The Conquistadores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaiya Brown paced Cabrillo's offense, picking up four kills. Brown got some help from Jazlene Brady and her four assists.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Paso Robles, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Cabrillo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pioneer Valley on the 23rd. As for Paso Robles, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lemoore on the 23rd.
