Basketball Recap: Beachside Piles Up the Points Against Paxon School for Advanced Studies

After losing to Paxon School For Advanced Studies the last time they met, Beachside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beachside Barracudas really took it to the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-37 win. The Barracudas pushed the score to 64-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Golden Eagles had little chance of recovering from.

Beachside's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Cremen, who went 8 of 14 on her way to 25 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Cremen's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Kane, who shot 6-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 boards.

Cremen wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Beachside was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Beachside is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Beachside will head out on the road to face off against Mandarin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paxon School For Advanced Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
