Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lawrence Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawrence Academy). They put the hurt on the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes with a sharp 6-1 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Shelby Brabble as she scored five goals for her team.

The victory was the third in a row for Lawrence Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Cape Hatteras, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence Academy will challenge Ridgecroft at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cape Hatteras, they will face off against Albemarle School at 5:00 p.m. on March 21st.
