Soccer Recap: Banning Lewis Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Banning Lewis Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Colorado Springs Christian Lions on Tuesday, falling 5-0.

The win made it two in a row for Colorado Springs Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas MacLaren School at 4:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Colorado Springs Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodland Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
