Walton won the last time they faced Chipley and things went their way on Tuesday too. Walton came out on top against Chipley by a score of 9-6.

Landon Rhodes was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Warren Godwin was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Chipley, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walton will square off against Jay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Jay has averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Chipley, they will take on Marianna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
