Soccer Recap: Bayfront Charter Find Success

Bayfront Charter gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Mount Miguel Matadors. For the Sharks, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Matadors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.

Henry Reyes was the driving force of Bayfront Charter's attack as he scored both of Bayfront Charter's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Bayfront Charter now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Mount Miguel, their record is now 2-2-1.

Bayfront Charter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Mount Miguel, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Foothills Christian on the 20th.
